New GSE Operations eLearning course available

This online training course gives an overview of the safety requirements for operating Ground Service Equipment (GSE) while servicing aircraft.


Participants will learn how to verify the safety and serviceability of GSE and how to operate GSE around aircraft. The essential learning objective is how to prevent costly damage to equipment and aircraft on the ground.



We at Airport College International have created a new GSE Operations online eLearning course to improve proper and safe handling of Ground Service Equipment.

The course content fully complies with the guidelines of IATA Airport Handling manual (AHM) 2021, Edition 41.

The course contains guidelines and best practices for:

  • Airline personnel

  • Ramp Handling personnel

  • Baggage Handling personnel

  • Transport personnel

  • Lavatory and Water service personnel

  • Cargo personnel

  • Catering personnel

  • Postal and express parcel handling personnel

The course takes about 60 minutes to study.

This brand-new course is available in English and Finnish and we are fully prepared to provide other language versions according to our client’s needs.
