As of January 01, 2023, Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) trainings will be entered into a new training approach, Competency Based Training Assessment (CBTA).
What is CBTA?
Under the CBTA framework, personnel must be trained according to their job functions for which they are responsible, and its goal is to produce a competent workforce by providing focused training. To achieve this, personnel are required to complete dangerous goods training and assessment in accordance with their assigned responsibilities.
DGR Certificates Issued Before 01 JAN 2023
Training certificates issued before 1 January 2023 under the current categorization approach, and which have a validity period beyond 1 January 2023, will continue to be valid until they expire.
