Our Dangerous Goods CBTA eLearning course for 2026 is now available.

The course content has been developed in accordance with the 67th edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) and is fully aligned with the ICAO Technical Instructions (TI) 2025–2026 edition, ensuring regulatory compliance for operators worldwide.

eLearning Course with CBTA Approach

CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) is an ICAO requirement for dangerous goods training. The CBTA approach focuses on delivering training that is relevant to each individual’s job role, rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

Under CBTA, organisations are required to:

  • Evaluate their employees’ job functions and responsibilities

  • Define and document relevant dangerous goods competencies

  • Design a training programme tailored to those specific roles

This online course provides the theoretical CBTA training based on job role. To complete the full CBTA requirement, the participant must also follow the company’s internal procedures for the practical training component.
