ULD Awareness – eLearning course

The IATA has developed ULD Regulations (ULDR) for standards and procedures concerning the specifications, handling, restraint and maintenance of ULDs for operational personnel.

 

ULD Awareness training must be provided to personnel whose job involves being in contact with ULDs.

This course is designed for

  • Airline Personnel

  • Pilots

  • Airline representatives

  • Freight forwarders and truck drivers

  • Postal and express parcel handling  

 

Learning objectives

Upon completion of this course, a course participant will be able to:

  • understand that ULD’s are part of aircraft and critical for flight safety

  • recognize handling methods and serviceability inspections.

  • know what the damage limits of ULD’s are and what to do if these limits are exceeded.

  • learn about the importance of proper handling and why every person who deals with ULDs must complete the training required for the job.
