Competent workforce makes the difference in Pharma Transportation

More and more pharmaceutical and healthcare products are transported each year by air, and we need to ensure that products reach the customer on-time, and in sound condition.

The whole distribution process of pharmaceutical products, from the premises of the product manufacturer to the entity providing pharmaceutical products, directly to a patient, is carefully regulated.

As transportation plays a critical part in the process, a competent workforce is a must to guarantee the safety of products.

New training methods need to be explored

My colleague, Mr. Teemu Patala, wrote an article in PMPS magazine about the challenges for Pharma logistics, and what needs to be taken into account when providing proper training for an entire workforce.

Mr. Patala’s key statements in the article are:

  1. The global challenge to find competent people

  2. A skilled workforce is the key to successful pharma transportation

  3. Modern training solutions can significantly support the development of skills

PMPS (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packing Sourcer) February 2020 issue is now live online. You can access the magazine from the link below. Mr. Patala’s article can be found by scrolling to page 72: https://en.calameo.com/read/006113385d09d19d00aa7
