Communicate clearly and correctly with the flight crew and ground team using standard phraseology, hand signals, and approved communication methods.
Apply safety precautions and hazard controls to protect personnel, equipment, and aircraft during normal and abnormal pushback situations.
Respond appropriately to irregular operations and abnormal events by following approved procedures, stopping operations when required, and supporting safe incident management and reporting.
This course covers the theory part of aircraft pushback training and must be followed by practical on-the-job training and/or assessment before participating in live operations.
